"So many Muslims have this belief that everything between the two covers of the Koran is just God's unaltered word," he says. "They like to quote the textual work that shows that the Bible has a history and did not fall straight out of the sky, but until now the Koran has been out of this discussion. The only way to break through this wall is to prove that the Koran has a history too. The Sana'a fragments will help us to do this."

Every time I hear about all those versions of the Bible from Muslims, I'm posting this. You have versions too.
Do you believe in all the versions of the Koran?

"I am the WAY the truth and the life, NO man comes to the Father, except by me" This is the word of God.
Muslims are deceived and believe a lie. It is like believing if they put a bomb on them and blow up innocent people, they will go to Heaven and have Virgins waiting on them.
The only place a murderer will go is Hell if he does not repent!

Its ridiculous to say that there are 2 versions of the Quran. The whole Muslim world only knows 1 Quran from the Holy One God Allah.
Different interpretations or translations might exists, but the majority of Sunni scholars are the ones who ensure that almost all if not all of the translations and interpretations are consistent vis-a-vis the Traditions of the Prophet ie the Hadith Canon.
The Quran is a well-documented religious text-- even the exact condition that happened when a particular verse was revealed was recorded. That instance was also memorised by countless Muslims who were with Muhammad.
So corruption is practically impossible.

There is only one version of the Holy Quran from the time it was revealed 1400 years ago to today. I think what you are refering to is the translation into English.
Because the Holy Quran is memorized by heart by millions of people all over the world it can not be changed. There might be other books that reference the Holy Quran but there is only one Arabic Holy Quran.
A translation into another language is not the same as the Arabic version. The reason why people say that the Bible can be changed and not the Holy Quran is because we have ample evidence that the Bible has been changed.
God says in the Holy Quran that the book is protected and can not be changed like the other books. I am sure there are other works that reference the Quran but it is the mother of all books and is blemish free.
Read it for yourself with an open mind and I am sure you will understand why over a billion people believe it is from God and God only.

What Muslims say about Koran is, that it is still the same in Arabic, as it was revealed to holy prophet Mohammed.
Bible was in Hebrew originally.but when thousands of people translated it in English and other languages, they changed it according to their own ability.
if you pick 10 Bibles, they will be at some point different from each other...Hebrew language is almost forgotten, while Arabic is still in full force.
so, although there are many translations of Koran, which can change the meanings of some teachings, it is still available in original language Arabic so, if there is a bit of doubt about any contradiction,it can be discussed.
hope it will be an answer to your satisfaction.
