MY GOD.
You shoudn't drink more than one a day. That can leave you with a 50% risk of developing heart disiese.
stop this habit. NOW!
But dont stop cold turkey. that could potentially hospititize you.
drink less and less soda per day until you are at one per day or no soda per day.

No question you are. I suggest you slowly decrease the amount you drink per day so you don't through your body into shock. (Take it down to 5 cans tomorrow, 4 cans over the next 2 days and then 3 cans etc)
Once you come to taking it out of your diet all together and replace it with say...water ;-) (with some lemon for flavor) you will see your figure lose some unnecessary fat as well. And you might see a tone down on any "bloated" look on your tummy. Although at your age I'm sure your active enough in school that it hasn't caught up...yet anyway. The stuff isn't healthy and your body wasn't designed to drink "Pepsi". So if you must, drink it only in moderation like once in a while. ;-) Just a side note and all the medical people who read this know what I mean... I hope your not drinking anything with Aspartame in it either (you'll find it in diet sodas, some yogurts, etc. You will find a ton of information if you just google Aspartame. It mimics many diseases. Terrible stuff.

It may be a shared addiction; that of drinking sodas and the caffeine in them. I'm not so sure you have an addiction; but a habit. I would suggest you trying to drink other liquids that have less or no caffeine and see how you fare. Typically an addiction is described as something one does for 29 days in a row without a break. I believe that a break in your soda consumption might help you. Plus the carbohydrates in these drinks (40mg) might cause you to be hyperactive and gain weight.
There is a gratification of consuming these carbonated drinks; that being the "bubble effect" of drinking them fast. It is similar to drinking a Slurpie and getting a head rush.
Like any addiction, I would advise you to slow down on a short-term basis and you may find that you do not need this Pepsi rush.

your in a soda stage...break off from that....3-4 cans a day is ridiculous...1-2 the most....your addicted to sugar not necessarily caffeine...try drinking juices and anything else...you can develop heart disease from all that crap. Dont worry bout your caffeine addiction...itll only get worse once you start drinking coffee!
