I love uniforms. It's so easy to get ready in the morning; white polo or green polo? I love it. Sure it stifles individuality a bit, but that's what accessories are for! You have to spice up the uniform yourself.
If teachers have to have a dress code then they should get paid more.

School Uniforms are becoming more and more popular with the turn of the century and the releasing of some pretty obsene clothing, but is it right to tell someone how to dress, let alone make everyone dress the same? Although some people do have bad taste, is that for us to judge? No. Why? Because wearing clothes we picked out shows our personality...it's simply a big part of who we are; how we look. So by saying, you must wear a gray top and skirt, we are stealing people's identities and making everyone the same so nobody has different personalities or at least anything to show for it! I believe school administrations can put limits on what you can and cannot why, but as for determining it, that's just wrong and should be done to no one. The children and teens of America have the RIGHT to pick what they want to wear, of course by abiding some rules, but still choosing what they will put on every day. Any questions - feel free to e-mail me.

You may in time realize that school uniforms are a good thing. The reason they are is because it puts everyone on a level playing field. It doesn't make some students stand out in a crowd for not having the money to purchase the best and latest styles. Everyone looks the same so hopefully they will be treated the same.

School is where we go to get an education, not to make a fashion statement. Having uniforms helps to have the appearance at least of everybody being on the same level and to reduce the amount of time wasted on appearance rather than on the learning that they're there for. I think they're a great idea. You can always express yourself after school and on weekends and holidays.

I think school uniforms should be worn. It takes the pressure off of what to wear each day. It makes kids judge you for what you are not what you wear. You should like them. You do not have to worry the night before as of what you will wear the next day.

I think they are wonderful. They solve the problem of kids wearing inappropriate clothing that distracts others from learning, kids being sent home for having inappropriate clothing, having to figure out what to wear each day, kids being judged by their clothing, spending too much money on clothing. If I know what I'm going to wear to school each day I can spend my time on thinking about more interesting things.
