My boyfriend took up a second job in the mornings weeks ago. He works with his friend Dan*. Ever since then, they had this weekly guys night out , either bowling or (good gawd) drinking. Dan's* single and hits on girls whenever they go out, and sometimes he pushes my boyfriend into doing the same thing even though he knows he's got a girlfriend (me). My boyfriend doesn't do it though.Still, from past experience, I don't/can't fully trust him and he even told me he gets girls numbers and throws them away afterwards just so he can reassure himself he still has game. Anyway, since they've been hanging out lately, he's been drinking more and might've almost started smoking. I feel like I don't really know him anymore and he's just fading away. Plus he's disappointing/disgusting me. I thought I might be able to change him just a little, but obviously that didn't work. So what do I do? I've been told by friends to hang in there, but it's almost been 2 years of patience and tolerence with him

I would get my point across by reminding him that's he not single like Dan* is and he has other obligations besides partying. Tell him that you are irritated and turned off by his behavior and he will have to spend more time with you since he's working a second job now. If he's not understandable, find someone who is. Don't be patient or tolerant and wait for him to change his mind.

if he can go out with his friends so can you, if he couldnt even pay any attention to you and your needs why demand it from him if he cannot give it back to you, you can just go out with your friends too, enjoy life and give him his freedom and your freedom, you know what if you would always be this nagging girlfriend you would only sound as the loser in here, if you are no longer contented, you know what to do,dump him,why make it longer and make yourself miserable, why be this sorry martyr.
you and him dont compliment one another , you are actually destroying his life and your life by hanging in there, what kind of friends would tell you to hang in there when they know the relationship is going nowhere, why everyday is a new day,why must you rot like garbage in that situation, and why stay with a loser , are you a loser too?

Sounds as tho you are ready to move on. You have not really stated anything positive about your man. You dont trust him, you dont like his friends, you dont like his behaviour and he disgusts you...............is there anything more to say.
He is entitled to friend s and a life, seems as tho he is honest enough to you, you cant control him. Move on and find something or someone you like.

Invite him and his friends to a bbq picnic and play basketball, volleyball, football or something you all like to do. All of you go to a waterpark or something.
