Vanity is closely related to the human Ego. Hindu(and really every other religion) thought is to eventually evolve to a stage where you destroy your individual ego and merge into the Divine.
The enlightened have said that the bliss of that achievement is so great and vast that it can only be experienced and cannot be communicated.

I think Buddhist religions teach about to respect one who have value or virtue to respect.

no such thing Buddhism teaches ppl to be good and compasionate
