Hi! ( :

Yes, Moses died as is recorded in Deuteronomy 34:5. He was buried in Moab.

BUT! There IS some mystery involved in what happened after his death:
Jude 1:9
But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"

Where does Jude get that? I don't know!
It's not found in the Old Testament that I am aware of, and I read the whole thing. So either it was a rumor passed down to him, an Apocryphal writing, he just made it up, or he was given that knowledge by God. I really don't know.

Also there is the mystery involved with Moses showing up at the Mount of Transfiguration. So God treated Moses differently. He was able to talk to Jesus even in the New Testament.

The writer who finished the book of Deuteronomy knew only that Moses was gone and so assumed that he had died, that the Lord had buried him, and that no one knew where his grave was. However, we know that Moses was translated. The Bible Dictionary gives the following explanation of Moses’ translation:

“As was the case with many of the ancient prophets, Moses’ ministry extended beyond the limits of his own mortal lifetime. In company with Elijah, he came to the Mount of Transfiguration and bestowed keys of the priesthood upon Peter, James, and John (Matthew 17:3–4; Mark 9:4–9; Luke 9:30). From this event, which occurred before the resurrection of Jesus, we understand that Moses was a translated being and had not died as reported in Deuteronomy 34 . It was necessary that he be translated, in order to have a body of flesh and bones at the time of the transfiguration, since the resurrection had not yet taken place. Had he been a spirit only, he could not have performed the work on the mount of giving the keys to the mortal Peter, James, and John.

He died, but his body was hidden by God, probably so that no one would worship him. Satan tried to take his body, possibly so that satan could somehow interfere with Moses' coming back to the earth as one of the two witnesses during the tribulation. IF Moses is one of the two mentioned in Revelation. Read Jude on satan trying to take his body.

He died old man with Arron and the rest of the people that didn't commit the idol worship of the golden calf and the rest where turned into detested apes (bible also says pigs).

Musa died old man and was never allowed to enter the gates of the promised land.. for his followers angered the lord. When he seen the final prophet and messenger in heaven pbuh.. it was Musa that helped him reduce the prayers from 50 per day to 5 per day. Its was said he did nothing but cry tears of sadness for his people.

Moses did die! But his body was hidden by God to possibly avoid the Israelites to worship him as a god.

Not sure of what happened after he died - and it WAS a death - but while he was alive he didn't put one foot inside of the Promised Land. God made sure of it.

:4 And the Lord said unto him,
This is the land which I sware unto Abraham,
unto Isaac,
and unto Jacob, saying,
I will give it unto thy seed:
I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes,
but thou shalt not go over thither
:5 So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab,
according to the word of the Lord.
:6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab,
over against Bethpeor:
but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
:7 And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died:
his eye was not dim,
nor his natural force abated.

He is Dead as all normal human beings die, he said himself I am close to death. But all the prophets had a choice of staying on Earth or afterlife. Most of them or all of them chose afterlife.

He died, before entering the promised land it was punishment for disobeying God, that he wouldn't enter the promised land... His Body was not found but I do believe he died.

God said "My servant Moses is dead" Twice. That's all I can remember in my present inebriated state. O.T. for sure.
