The ones who commit every abomination in the "Book" but condemn the one (see: homosexuality) they don't?

The ones saying I'm intolerant for being intolerant of intolerance?

The ones who play football (pigskin), eat shellfish (anything without fins & a tail is an abomination), are haughty, or who have ever told a lie in all their lives.

Or is it the God they themselves have invented? He's the one preaching about "not casting the first stone" and then casting, casting and recasting.

Hmm.

Erm, Annie, dear. Methinks you should reread your Bible, love. God is EXTREMELY clear about his jealousy, hatred, intolerance, and disgust with the things he's "created".

John H - Sorry, um... who made your holy book "law"? Do you know how many other 'holy' books are out there? And really... what you're saying is that homosexuals should be in prison. And all I say is, so should the arrogant, the people who have ever once told a lie, the haughty-eyed ones, the crossers who don't use the crosswalk (law, remember?), the shrimp-eaters... So I guess we're on the same page, eh?

Well, the God of their fecund imagination is the biggest mass murderer in mythical history. Makes Adolf Hitler and Stalin look like Mary Poppins and Rebbecca of Sunnybrook Farm. Talk about genocide.

Society has a set of rules called the Law. Most of what it contains allows us to live in harmony with our fellow man. But when someone breaks one of those laws what happens? The person must face the penalty laid out in the Law. They may not like it, but they have to face the punishment none the less.

If someone who does become a law-breaker somehow convices people that, even though he did break the law, it was not his fault. He explains that he couldn't help himself because it is a part of his inner nature. And many believe him and feel that he should not be sent to prision. Does that make it alright for him to continue to break the law? No it doesn't!

If I then stood up and condemned the person for breaking the Law, that many others follow, am I a bigot? Or am I someone who is trying to put the law in its place and attempting to show that we all are subject to it and must obey it even if we don't agree with it.

Additional Note to Asker:
1.) Even though I stated "the Law" I do not think that homosexuals should be in prision. Rather what the Law requires will be determined by the Law-Giver.

It was a rhetorical question and you meant God is the biggest bigot, or am I wrong? But then, isn't God OUR creation? Tell me, is there any being on earth who can say s/he has actually seen God? Except of course in the scriptures which we have to discount either as figments of imagination or as gross exaggerations.

Ok, I guess you realy want an answer here ?? The biggest biggot of them all , would be some one like you.... sorry, not being a smarty pants here, just giving an answer.... Since God has no color, creed, language, skin tone, accent, etc., it would be hard for Him to be a biggot.... He is not making observations about different ppl., like you are..... He does not see any of the factors we , has humans do, He only sees and knows those who do not LOVE him or worship him or those who do...... He is the creator of all, humans, plants, animals, why would he seperate them to be hated for who or what they are ??? He teaches NOT to judge, but he is allowed to, he is the *I AM*, the one who made all into exsistance...... He only ask us for one simple thing........ we have the *free will* to choose..... so we choose, you your way, me HIS way........ God bless
