The Bible says that God Created each kind of animal, to reproduce after it's kind. That's observable. That's provable. That's fact.
Evolutionists say that all living animals evolved from ameoba. That's not observable. That's not provable. Question is.....is it a fact?
The Bible says that dogs will produce only dogs. Cats will produce only cats. Horses will produce only horses. That has always been observed. We've never seen a dog come from a non-dog, or a dog producing anything other than a dog.
Evolutionists say that the dog, cat, horse and banana had a common ancestor. But they don't know what that ancestor was, what it looked like, or where it came from.
Main reason people believe in evolution, because the only other choice would be God, and they don't want to believe that's possible.
Do you believe that something, no one knows what or where it came from, brought forth all forms of life, or do you believe God Created everything? And why do you believe what you believe?

hardy......I like your answer. Like gravity, evolution has a bunch of stuff to back it up. Don't feel bad, no one else could mention anything sounding scientific to back up evolution.

bubbles...........if the human body evolves in complexity, that's great. But you know what, it's still a human body. No one has ever seen a human produce a non-human, or a human come from anything else other than a human.

The bible is the most inconsistent and contradictory peace of fiction ever written and you offer it as prove that an obvious
and well stated fact like evolution is false. P.T. Barnum was correct.

"Observable" means that you can observe it - no time machine = can't "observe" the beginning of the universe.
"Provable" means that it can be proved - i.e. cause-and-effect established and, (to be scientifically provable) replicated - can't "prove" what you can't observe.
So, if anything, your description of god creating everything is on par with your misunderstanding of evolution - unproven, not observable, not factual.
"Horses will produce only horses" -- what about mules?
The main reason people believe in evolution is the overwhelming evidence to support it. Why is your DNA 99% the same as a chimpanzee? Why are beaks different on the finches in the Galapagos? Why are there no bears in Africa? Answer: evolution - humans and chimps share a common ancestor; different finch species evolved beaks suited to their primary food source; and the common ancestor that bears share with dogs and raccoons gave rise to only canines in Africa.
"Do you believe that something, no one knows what or where it came from, brought forth all forms of life, or do you believe God Created everything?" isn't that asking the same thing twice, since no one really know what god is or where it came from?

I believe God created everything. It seems a lot of people argue in favor of evolution simply because they've heard that a lot of scientists say it's true. Well a few hundred years ago, nearly all scientists agreed that the world was flat and that the sun revolved around the planets, and we all know how that turned out. For the most part, it seems that most people agree with evolution because A) it's a popular, accepted viewpoint and, well, no one wants to be an outcast, B) they haven't taken the time to examine the theory more closely (and thus, haven't discovered the many flaws and holes in it), C) they have discovered the flaws and holes but willingly choose to ignore them since the only other option is intelligent design (aka - God), and let's face it - there either is a God or there isn't, and both ideas are frightening. Or maybe it's D) All of the above. Whatever the case, those that believe in evolution are fighting tooth and nail to try to keep the theory above water, mainly because no one likes to find out they've been lied to, and of course, no one likes to be wrong. Interestingly enough, you don't even have to use the Bible to point out some of the flaws in evolution; science and common sense can do that. For the sake of argument, let's just use evolution itself as an example...
Five out of the six kinds of evolution have never been proven or observed (and the sixth kind isn't really evolution at all).
1. Cosmic evolution - the origin of time, space and matter; i.e. - "Big Bang"
The "Big Bang" theory goes against the "conservation of angular momentum" law; the origin of the Big Bang matter is unknown; space matter is not evenly distributed, etc. No evidence.
2. Chemical evolution - the origin of higher elements from hydrogen
How did 92 elements (plus the synthetic ones) evolve from hydrogen? No one knows.
3. Stellar and planetary evolution - origin of stars and planets
No one has ever seen a star or planet form. Not even intermediate stages of formation. There's evidence of star deaths (novas and supernovas), but what about star births? No evidence.
4. Organic evolution - origin of life
How did life get started from non-living material? Scientists have tried it in the lab (i.e. - the failed Miller-Urey experiments), but none have succeeded. No one has ever observed this occurrence. No evidence.
5. Macro-evolution - changing from one kind of animal to another
There is no evidence of any intermediate stages of evolution (i.e. - no fossils of "missing links"). Example: No one has ever seen a lizard produce anything other than another lizard. The lizards produced might come in a lot of colors, shapes and sizes, but in the end they're all still the same kind of animal: lizards. Again, no evidence.
6. Micro-evolution - variations within kinds of living things
The description "variations" rather than "micro-evolution" is really more accurate since it's the same kind of plant or animal with varying features (i.e - different kinds of roses, different kinds of finches, etc.), but this is the one and only event that has ever been observed.
Also, radiometric dating is unreliable, the geologic column is wrong, embryology is false, and on, and on, and on. The truth is right in front of them, yet they can't see the forest for the trees. But that's okay. God still loves them too.

well thats because species have leveled off and are GRADUALLY evolving if everything came from an amoeba and reproduced randomly we wouldnt have a steady ecosystem but this happend overtime and evolution has been proven you can still believe god exists but the people who wrote the bible didnt know anything so jesus probably existed and he most likely did help people and was most likely the most raddest person ever concidering he helps ppl and so on but to simply flat out say everything is god does not progress anyones learning evolution doesnt disprove god it disproves adem and eve and think about it can someone be made from a rib?? no. and theres no way noa could have gotten all those animals and got them on the boat penguins would not have survived on the boat cause it would have been to hot so there are flaws

How could someone get around for 50 years and think that the science of evolution says that an animal will give birth to another species in one step?? I find that utterly astonishing. What do you think science says electricity is? Magic fairies playing kiss chasey??
What is even more astonishing is that you are so arrogant that, despite your incredible ignorance on the subject, you think you possibly have a valid criticism.
Science is based on observable, verifiable evidence. Each piece in the mountain of evidence behind evolution is observable and verifiable. Further more, the whole thing can be tested via the testable predictions it makes.
That you have your head so firmly in the sand changes nothing in the real world.

Evolution is an observed, replicated, verified, established empirical and scientific fact. There is an abundance of evidence from multiple sources that apply consistently and predictably worldwide. There is no contradictory evidence – every argument raised against it has been demonstrably shown to be wrong or deliberate deception and intentionally dishonest.
More than just fact, the theory of evolution is the most powerful general explanatory model in all of science. Without it, every life science collapses and all biological knowledge is false.
This includes medical science which, if evolution were false, would be no more than voodoo and the mystical mumbo-jumbo practiced by Witch Doctors. Creationists, as well as everyone, who submits to the care of a modern physician is placing their health and lives in the hands of Practitioners of Evolutionary Theory.

AFI07 --
The ignorance, lying, and distortions just never stop with you guys, do they?
There was one incident of the deliberate mixing of fossils - the Piltdown Hoax.
The forgery was detected and corrected by scientists.
Creationists and their equally scientifically illiterate comrades have never disproven anything in any field of science.

The Theory of Evolution
The Theory of Gravitation
If you want to teach Intelligent Design as an alternative to the Theory of Evolution, you should teach Intelligent Falling as an alternative to the the Theory of Gravitation as well. Other "Intelligent" theories for all the scientific theories listed on the link should also be prepared. Why pick on one scientific theory when you can pick on all?
If the Bible is proof that God exists, you can use a comic to prove that Spiderman exists.
If you want a serious discussion with people who know about the Theory of Evolution, try posting this question in the Biology section.

Evolution is a theory with archeological facts behind it. Gravity is a theory along with a bunch of other stuff, but all of this doesn't tell us what was before 13.7 billion years (age of the universe) ago, we don't know what is beyond the "horizon" of visible space. Everytime we discover something new about the universe, we always ask "what was before?" This can go on like the number "pi" 3.14159....on to eternity"

You have a poor understanding of evolution. Ring species have been observed, studied, experimented, and tested upon to show evolution is possible. It literally is the proof that one species can come from another (over many generations, not "a non-human coming from a human, which would disprove evolution).
