Will this also affect my left eye?

Question

My left eye sees better than my right eye. so I usually cover my left eye with some head bands, or just close my left eye, especially when i watch T.V or on the computer, like right now. So lets say if I sit too close to the screen, will this affect my right eye only or both eyes?

Oh, the reason why I am doing this is to save my left eye for emergencies when I really need it. I heard that your stronger eye will be weak if you use it too much.

I'm not sure what that will do to your left eye, but it can't be good for your right eye. You should get contacts or glasses if your eyesight is really bad in that eye, and if that's not necessary, then you should go back to using both your eyes before you make it necessary.

u need a proper eye check up from an optometrist or an ophthalmologist and if ur right eye is weak u must need glasses to restore the vision and prevent it from straining further.
not doing so and relying only on ur left eye can result into amblyopia or lazy eye. ur unused eye ie ur right eye will become lazy and it can eventually result in strabismus or squint. also in future it can affect the vision in ur left eye due to constant load on it and can give u serious visual disorders.
so i will advice u to get an immidiate eye test and get eye glasses or contacts, whichever suitable.

You need to see an eye doctor to determine why your right eye doesn't see as well. Watching TV etc will not harm your eyes.

You don't need to "save" your left eye. It won't go bad from use. If anyhing, keeping it covered may make it see worse.

i have the same problem :] i have bad vision in my right eye >.
i dont think it will affect just dont get close to the screen
