do you believe that we have past lives?

some cultures believe in reincarnation. my religion thinks otherwise. but i can't explain my fear of riding in an airplane. i am thinking that i might have died in a plane crash in another lifetime. i like to travel, can very well afford it, but i can't bring myself to buy a plane ticket and just go. do you recommend hypnosis so that i could be regressed?

There are certainly pervious lifes. That is actually clinically proven that through some psychology practices, we can bring back the memories in our sub consuious/previous lifes.
The question you asked was rather irrational from my point of view. You shouldnt think like that, you like to travel becasue of your own choice or destiny. In case if you like to travel it may due to your last life was only spent in one counrty.
What is your religion? May be there are different kind of punishments in hell not stated in the human written religious teaching, may be coming back as a hungry and poor child in Africa is considered a punishment in hell? May be coming back as a rich kid in a positive family is considered the reward of heaven. After all earth can be hell or heaven depend on your-self.

It is worth a try. I have conducted hundreds perhaps thousands of past life regressions and most were helpful. you do not mention if you were always afraid of flying. A fear of something can be triggered by any one of several things. perhaps as simple as seeing a movie. The hypnotist can remove the phobia with out a past life regression. I do not know where you live, but airlines often have programs to help with the phobia.

I maintain a healthy skepticism, and claim a non-belief in reincarnation.

I have seen no viable proof as to it's truth. The only arguments for it's existence, comes from countries who are predisposed to already believe in reincarnation. So that makes it rather suspect.

However, I have caught myself saying, "If there was ever such thing as reincanation, than my current boyfriend is proof of it".

But I say that with a grain of salt.

If you think hypnosis might help you with your fear of flying, go for it, if you think you will "discover" a past life, then I say save your money.

I do believe in past lives and your fear of flying could be a result of a past life experience. Or not. But be careful when and if you opt for past life regression---the hypnothists/therapist should be chosen carefully! Do a lot of research, get references and find a therapist with lots of experience in past life regression. Blessings!

for all Christians the belief in resurrection is incompatible with reincarnation. Simply you cannot reincarnate and resurrect as christians belief as the same time.

For all Christians the only pasts lifes one have is the past experiences of demons around oneself.
