I'm not sure if the Lamictal has balanced me out some or I'm just a happier person lately. I've noticed a huge difference on the Lamictal though. Like, the Lamictal has definitely helped me with Bipolar II. I'm 200 mgs. currently, but does it really help my moods even when I'm drunk?

I'm a Bipolar II who takes Lamictal, and it helps me, a lot. I don't know what I would do without it.
Also 200 mgs. Never drink alcohol when you are taking a pscyhological medication. It's poison for your system.

It is the meds.I take Celexa and it does the same for me.I would talk to a doctor about drinking with it.Make sure that it is does not become toxic.
When I first began to take Celexa,it would hit me like a calm down cloud had enveloped me.It was very quick and noticeable,even to my friends and co-workers.

It's always a bad idea to get drunk while on psychiatric medication.
Having one or two drinks a day might be okay, but you'd better clarify that with your doctor.

You cannot be drinking when you are taking this med. This is very very dangerous. The med is working so please stick to non alcoholic drinks. If you can't stay away from alcohol then get some help for it or at least let your doctor know that you are drinking while you are on this medication.
