Could your fish be a ling cod? A 25lb ling cod has some nasty teeth as they are a predator. Please feel free to email me at my address found at my profile site. Being a diehard fisherman for 35 years and fished all over the world, I'm pretty sure I could help you out.

I recently got an email that had some pictures of an African Tigerfish, with a mouth full of long, vicious looking choppers. Go to yahoo images, type in tigerfish, and see if it matches. Let me know.

Lots of fish have teeth. Pike, Muskie, Walleye and I don't know how many others. Look up some of the names and see if they match.

It would have been nice to know where your at, where you caught it, etc. On the river around Detroit, then the Asian Tiger Carp that was accidentally put in the rivers and are infesting them but, it's unusual that you caught one. They don't bite on lures.
Ooops! just saw the picture, that's a long nose Gar. Sorry.

Well it could be a hoax or it could be an
Angler fish or a Piharana
those are the only fish I know with huge teeth.
