Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, and Samsung. Stay away from the new comers, like Olevia and Vizo, and from Philips/Magnavox, if you are looking for quality and reliability.

i read that the parts used to make flat screen tvs all come from the same suppliers so there isn't much difference between brand names
