I donate money to the Florida Wild Bird Center, I take in homeless cats and dogs, I've saved injured hawks, and crows, I even throw worms back into the grass, but these people are sick.

I would advise anyone who doesn't understand and share your sentiment regarding PETA to watch the episode of Penn & Teller's BS about the organization. It explains how PETA money has been used to fund groups that are little more than terrorist organizations, how PETA members have led violent protests against animal shelters that actually put far fewer animals "to sleep" than PETA members themselves, and how despite the group's current position against animal-based science products (such as insulin), one of the vice-presidents is an insulin-dependent diabetic who said when interviewed that there was obviously no way that she would give up her treatment, but she would continue to fight against any treatments that involved animals in any way (despite the fact that such research is saving her sad little two-faced life).

Make my steak panda meat! Or penguin, or polar bear!

It's so sad that these people have become so insane over what was originally a good cause. So many people blindly support this organization because of their love of animals, but PETA is just a group of insane propagandists who would ruin the world if they could actually push through all the changes the national organization would like to see made.

My boyfriend has a shirt that reads, "PETA: People for the Eating of Tasty Animals, There's room for all God's creatures- right next to my mashed potatoes."
That sums up my sentiment in regard to your question.
I feel that whatever issues PETA used to stand for are no longer present. It is indeed, a big deal to stand against animal abuse, animal testing, etc, but no one seems to care what PETA says.

No, but a pepperoni pizza with a soda would be nice. I like that they're trying to save animals, a noble cause, but these guys take it way too far. I've been friends with a few of them, and WOW they're a little out there.

I wouldn't risk my life by eating raw meat, just to spite PETA. They're not worth it.

But it definitely makes me want to order more meat than usual for my next meal. Though I am very confident that the meat industry will last forever, no matter what they do.

PETA: You are wasting your time. I think you realize your efforts are useless. You just can't let go of your all-inclusive clique because otherwise, you have no friends; you drove them all away with your obsessive radicalism.
