My 24 year old son says booze is "hard liquor" and ergo beer is not booze. I say booze is booze and that includes beer.

Booze,a slang word meaning Alcohol made by distilling instead of fermenting which are all Hard liquors, also drinking too much. and drinking too much would be a boozer.

booze, is alcohol of 40% or more and beer is usually 5% or more. both are alcoholic drinks. when you mix a booze. you bring it down to about the same as a bottle of beer...i know several people who have gone to treatment centers when they only drink beer. all mind altering drugs are addictive if you have the personally for such.

Anything with alcohol is considered 'booze'. When they go to a party that includes an invitation that says BYOB, bringing your own booze includes beer.

Booze is not a technical term so there is no basis that only liquor is booze.

one beer..one glass of wine..one shot of hard liquor all contain the same amount of alcohol and are all considered booze
