Xtian: When we go to heaven we won't sin anymore.
Me: You mean there is no sin in heaven?
Xtian: Yes
Me: Satan and his angels sinned in heaven by jealousy of God
Xtian: Humans are not the same
Me: If you still sin right now why would you stop sinning in heaven?
Xtian: We will be granted a new body to replace this carnal body so we won't sin in heaven.
Me: But with free will you still can sin.
Xtian: Not with our enlightened body, and we will have God beside us, so there is no reason to sin.
Me: A perfect body with God beside you sounds just like Adam and Eve. They were perfect humans with free will, just
the way you will be in heaven, and yet they sinned.
Xtian: ....er...
Me: There will be sin in heaven because angels sinned and
the perfect body you will posses is no different from Adam and Eve's which sinned. The fact is that with free will you will have the tendency to sin, even with God beside, Like Adam had God beside. The Garden of Eden could be compared to heaven.

I don't know if God will punish humans again or not if we sin in heaven. I do feel that there is very possible since God does not tolerate sin. He will have to let Jesus die for us one more time and we will be sent back to earth and suffer for another ten thousand years i suppose. So what is the point in going to heaven? You will sin which is already proven from the facts above.

SIN WILL NOT ENTER INTO HEAVEN

If you are a sinner or have sin in your life you will not go to heaven. Straight is the gate and narrow is the way.

Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

1 John 3:4-9
4Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

5And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

6Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

7Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

8He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Dear Max,
I understand your question, I used to feel the same way. Being a Christian, I want to go to heaven and STAY THERE, but I'm human, and predisposed to sin.
In the context of your question, it is obvious that you are at least somewhat familiar with the Bible, so in order to answer your question, indulge me to quote a few.
First of all, whether we are discussing Old Testament or New Testament, it is obvious in scripture that Satan, The Devil, The Serpent, is the one who does the TEMPTING. Remember, Adam and Eve were doing just fine in The Garden of Eden until Satan entered the picture:
Gen 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden?
It is the same in the New Testament:
Mat 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
It was even Satan who got Judas to betray Jesus:
Luk 22:3 And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
The Wonderful ending to the story is:
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.
SATAN AND HIS ANGELS WERE/ARE CAST OUT OF HEAVEN. THEIR NEXT STOP IS THE LAKE OF FIRE FOR ETERNITY:
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where are also the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
We as Christians will spend eternity with Christ in Heaven WITHOUT TEMPTATION. How will we escape boredom?
Psa 16:11 Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
I have NO IDEA what God has in mind when he says "Pleasures forevermore", but we're talking about the guy who DESIGNED WOMEN, and invented sex. C'mon, have a little faith.

You must have missed the point - Christianity is a FAITH. It can't be PROVEN or DISPROVEN by science or by logical argument. That's the whole point.

All you have done is to create a weak fallacious argument that might indicate that sin can occur in heaven. But then, it's my belief that sin is merely a secular construct designed to keep "the faithful" in line, preserving the power of the organised religion.

I NEVER in several decades of church going heard it suggested that we would be in corporeal form in heaven.

But then - I'm a Buddhist, so I don't worry about sin or heaven. I just try to do what's right.

This verse below is use by Jesus to show the Sadducee's that our bodies in heaven after the resurrection will NOT be like Adam and Eve's bodies. They were able to reproduce. Our new bodies in heaven, unlike anything that has ever been, will neither be male nor female. Therefore , there will be no desire for sexual sin, according to our rewards we will be given our duties as priest's and kings and live in perfect harmony.

Wouldn't you want to live in a perfect world/
I sure do.

Max, I prayed for you.

I'll pray for you, because people who are as lost as you need it. stop trying to prove God and everything in Bible is all one big hoax, because you will not succeed. the truth is God is coming back one day very soon, and When the rapture comes, and He takes his children home, we will be given new bodies. there will be no darkness or sin in Heaven. You can believe that or not...it's your choice, but just don't say I didn't warn you because one day we are all going to stand before God and be judged...and there is nothing You, or anyone else can say that will change that. or make that any less of a fact.

In the Bilble it even says that in the end God is going to create a new Heaven for him and his followers to live for ever. There will be no sin in heaven

I thought Yahoo Answers was a place for people to ask questions they don't know the answer to, and for others to respond with their opinions and, in some cases, factual answers. It seems like this, and many other things, are just discussion topics and arguments, rather than actual questions. Aren't there message boards for this kind of discussion?

That doesn't prove anything, lol!!!

If your ignorant or dumb enough to deny God in Heaven, you will be like Satan and his angels, and you will be smited by God, and cast into the eternal flame that is Hell. Lucifer came to be close to God, and he started to Deny him, and become jealous, He became angry, and he wanted to be God, but he couldn't because there can only be one God. Although you try to disprove Christians, it will never work, because we are all Brothers, and Sisters, and we will stand together, no matter what people say, or try to prove.

1 JOHN 4 7:-21 read it.

And I Love you too, although what you are doing is wrong and cruel.

Also the story you talk about, Lucifer intervened as the serpent, and he tricked Eve to eat the apple, and so fourth Adam

Heaven is just a big fantasy owned by millions of people throughout history. There really is no such thing, but we as humans feel we need to believe in something bigger than outselves. Instead our bodys turn to dust or food for maggots, and our spirits live on only through the memorys of our children. Our children will pass on our values, morals, traditions, our history, our stories, our teachings, and our memorys. That is how our souls will live on after we die.

Sorry but there is no real heaven, humans have a hard time believing that because we've been conditioned to believe in it for thousands of years.

There was a reason Jesus said on the cross, It is Finished.
What did he finish..the atonement of our sins.
Being the perfect lamb.
God wanted us to see how loving he was and is, by forgiveness.
Satan sinned, but did not ask for forgiveness, but wanted to rule heaven.
In mans wisdom he is proven foolish..proverbs
