Do you think they should knock it off because it was not the way of the Sunnah, nor is it humane?

What do you think based on this?

""The Prophet said: 'When I stand for prayer, I intend to prolong it, but on hearing the cries of a child, I cut it short, as I dislike to trouble the child's mother.'" (Reported by Bukhari)"

Based on what I've been taught by a Muslim friend, NO, true Muslims do not allow it or wish it.

Absolutely. Look at the MORAL POLICE of Iran, with the blessings of the Iran Supreme Court and the Ayotollah.

Look at Syria.

I'll bet your sitting in some Western Country or some Ultra Liberal Islamic Nation like Egypt or Turkey.

I'd love to wave a magic wand and have you Transported to Tehran or Damascus.

Without a passport or money.

I want to drop you downtown and watch you survive.

Yes, I do! In fact, marrying a second or, third wife...if you can afford too, is harming the bond made to the first wife. So on and so on!

Look at Saddam's sons! They raped women off the street! A man can whip his wife! Strong punishments are given for certain behaviors and strangers whip women if they see too much flesh!

Now, you want to rephrase this question and ask, " Why do they harm us"?

It might be more correct to say, true Muslims who understand what respect and love are, do not allow the harming of women.

Interesting that a Muslim would use the Disney symbol of "Snow White" and all the witchcraft associated with that Disney symbol as an avatar.
Does this mean that Islam supports witchcraft?
Sorry, but anyone with eyes can see the consistant affiliation with witchcraft that Disney has imbued into his 'timeless' animation.

Should Muslims knock it off for humane reasons, and not rely on what religion says either way?

It is a shame to see how Muslim women and children are treated. Very few rights and not aloud to speak out. How sad.

my husband would never beat me or my child, & he is from the mid east, here les than a year, & i ask him, he say the meening beat you wife, meens, beat your self as you would beat your wife, so if you want to beat your wife, you will beat your self, not her.
& all muslim men do not take more than 1 wife, my husband will NOT! we have it on paper, there will be only 1 wife.& that was his idea!
