For the record: I don't sleep around. Every time I agree with an atheist my clone/stalker/troll messages me and tells me that I must be sleeping with every atheist on R&S, assuming that it would be the only reason I would support their ideas.
I apologize for his insanity. I thought he was done but I said something today that set him off. Hopefully he's gone for now.

You can be a Christian and question a lot of things. And Christians can have very different views on some subjects, even some very contraversial matters. I would say the only thing the negates you being allowed to call yourself a Christian is when you are saying you don't believe in core beliefs of Christianity.
For example, I think you can believe in same-sex marriage and be a Christian.
But if you told me you don't think Christ's ressurection was a corporeal and physical one, and that you don't believe that Christ was born of a virgin, then I would say you are something other than a Christian.
But I still believe that Christians can be open minded and can question a lot of things.

Tell you what..forget questioning and asking others. The answer is inside you. My experience is that the worst christian is one that proclaims to be the best christian. God is inside us no matter what religion or background. God is the best part of us, the part that helps others and does it because it's the right thing to do. We are all given a piece of god at birth, what makes us good or bad is what we do with that piece!

The biggest sin in God eyes is the sins against the Holy Spirit, such as do not accept that God can forgive your sins, or the sins of other people for that matter.

Don't worry about him. Just keep giving your opinion. When someone is putting someone else down we don't really believe it anyway. We know it is their hurt inside of them speaking and lashing out.
