Is there any way to help her? other then going to a vet. We have no money or car to get her to them

her stomach has turned red and is swollen. is this still being egg bound?

She was lethargic for a while and is now getting back to her old self. Is this good?

The steam trick can actually help. It can be dangerous for her to be handled while eggbound. You can also put her cage in a closed bathroom with a hot shower running.

Egg binding has killed many birds
there are no friends or neighbors that would take you to a avian vet?? you're risking your birds life ! Birds are expensive to own the cheapest part of owning a bird is the cage and food , They actually have health insurance for birds - but its not cheap either, if you can't afford to take your pet to a vet when it's needed you shouldn't have one at all

i consider perry2 save her heat and lubricate this would help ,be very care finished once you shield her if the egg breaks the poultry can die get her to a vet as quickly as poss.

you can try holding her rear over a steaming bowl of water.The steam will help pass the egg.If this doesnt work try putting some vasaline on her rear.

she will have it naturally. she is just having labor pains. just talk 2 her and tell her its ok. i just went thru the same thing.
