There is a big difference between dogfighting and what humans do.
Humans *choose* to go into boxing, kickboxing, whatever. The dogs have no choice. They are trained from puppies to fight and they are often abused to make them meaner.
Humans have the option to stop, and there are rules to protect them from injury and death. Dogfights are to the death, and the animals suffer terribly.
What Michael Vick and his associates do/have done is plain and simple cruelty and abuse.
Very, very, very different.

Wrestlers, kickboxers etc choose to go into the ring, even after they are in the ring they have an option of stopping the fight at anytime......Niether of those are the case when you take an animal that doesnt have a choice, into ring, and let them fight till one dies

1 humans have a choice.
2 Human Fighters are not killed for not winning
3 .Human Fighters are not starved to make them meaner
4. It is rare for a person to die in the ring
Mostly though people have the CHOICE the poor dogs do not. the same can be applied to the roosters in cock fights.

I am not a fan of kickboxing and things but I don't think it's a fair comparison. The humans choose their profession/hobby, and they there is no intention to do permanent harm even if accidents sometimes happen.

Kickboxers and the like fight voluntarily. Dogs in dog fights are forced to fight and are often kept in brutal conditions to make them meaner. Forcing humans to fight is illegal.

Human fights are illegal, you always have to pay for the price for fighting to a person or a group of people.

As a rule, humans don't fight to death. Also, most of the time, human fighters aren't taken out and brutally killed when there time is over.
