He is scum of the earth, the bottom of the barrel. It makes my blood boil just thinking about it. I think before they throw him in jail, they should first let a pit bull attack him for an hour, then they should throw water on him , electrocute him ,and slam his body to the ground . That way he will know what it is like to be one of the dogs that he victimized. Bet he would never do it again if that was his punishment. If the NFL does not suspend him, I will be furious. His trial is not until November. There is no way he should be allowed to play football!

I hope his case will cause laws on dog fighting to be more stringently enforced and penalties to be much more significant, according to degree of abuse.
Right now, this is not taken seriously enough. For people who say he is "innocent until proven guilty" to me that is like saying the same about Jeffrey Dahmer. When he was arrested he was judged in the media and by people who read about what he did before he ever went to trial. The trial was more of a formality.
In this case, the trial could be a travesty of justice because with high dollar lawyers, child molesters, dog fighters, rapists and murderers routinely get away with their crime. I hope this doesn't happen with Vick.
In his case, if he is found guilty, he will be lucky to some degree because current penalties for his crimes are so small.
The larger penalties have already happened. He is exposed, evidence is exposed for all to see and it has affected his career already.
I'd like to see the man realize what he did was atrocious at best, but I don't like seeing his arrogance, like he has been inconvenienced and treated unfairly for what he has been indicted for. If this indictment can serve to make him take a look at what he has done and that causes a change in his life, I am all for the man and his rehabilitation. But if he is a sociopath, that will not be possible.
I hope his dogs will be rehabbed and not put to death because they were used in fighting. That would be doubly disturbing.

Michael Vick is a Sadistic Moron, who deserves to lose everything, and serve the maximum amount of time allowed in prison, which unfortunately, probably won't be near long enough. They should have stuck him in the middle of the pen and let the dogs go at him, rip him apart and see how it feels. It rips heart to pieces, when I look at the pictures of these poor innocent dogs and what he did to them. No animal deserves to be abused for any reason. He knew what was going on, on his property and even participated in it. Just because he's famous does not mean, he should be treated any different than other animal abusers. People like Michael Vick make me sick!

Michael Vick, if guilty, should be punished for dog fighting and animal abuse because it is illegal here.

I think that's enough said. It's being taken to the extremes because of his identity, it's as though some forget there are others involved.

In my town, Richmond, VA, a local sporting goods store took Vick's merchandise out of their store (as though that affects him, LOL- unfortunately they're going to be the ones losing money). They considered him to be a bad influence.

The issue of Vick being a poor role model may be considered, but he is still young and anyone can make mistakes. I'm sorry that he keeps getting into trouble.

I believe that if he makes better decisions, his athleticism can inspire kids and he can be a positive role model. There's no excuse for him being involved... and why people want to "throw him to the dogs" isn't questionable.

No one wants to see him suceed- he's young, has money, and is known as a "bad boy". Everyone is so concerned about Vick, when there is much more important news to cover!

If he is guilty then I believe he should be punished. It was his house. How could he not know what was going on. He's scum... I say tie him to a treadmill and make him run on it for about 24 hours all the while poking him with an electric prod pole. Then feed him to the dogs... If he gets out of this and is allowed to continue playing ball I will not watch any NFL games this Season... ...

i hate how people put their dogs up against to fight...thats just plain wrong.

I agree with Pitchow aboutt "innocent till proven guilty" because of course you need proof.

Its sick and wrong for people to make their dogs fight though. And also make like that weird chicken fight or whats it called when they put roosters up to fight or something along the lines there. thats just as wrong. and whats worse like waht Spooky said was that when they put their dogs up to fight when they are obviously unable to fight.

Then sometimes the dogs become aggressive to fight sometimes and then they might end up hurting humans...depending on their personality and breed. well...somewhat breed.

But Michael Vick is to me GUILTY if it was on his property!!! ugh!!! That guy should be thrown in the water with sharks!

That makes no sense.. You said he is an abuser and should be punished. Then you go on to say that you don't think he knew about what was going on and he didn't participate.. There is no way to agree or disagree, cause you don't know how you feel about it.

Your D**N right! Just because your famous doesn't give you the right to do this and get away with it! Come on people A grand jury indited him, there is enough evidence that he was involved, and or knew about what was going on! What a shame! I hope they get everyone that was involved! And continue to get new leads to stop this sort of thing from happenings to humans, and all animals as well!

I feel the same way. I own a pit bull, he is the best dog I have ever had. I was sickened and appalled by Vick. You can see the evil in that man's eyes. He deserves everything that happens to him.
