Someone asked me what religion I was. I have never really thought about it before today, but I don't really have one. I don't believe in any kind of God or supernatural power or anything like that. So I just told the guy that I am religiousless. Do they have a name for people like myself????

An atheist is one who believes there is no god. An agnostic is someone who doesn't clam to know.

But you are really different from either of these. You don't take either position, you don't take -any- position. There is a difference between someone who believes there is no god and someone who doesn't believe there is a god. 8^)

Religionless is not bad (not religousless). You could also say you were a humanist or 'secularist'. Humanism is actually a very respectable belief (check out humanism.org).

Believers will still call you an atheist. 8^<

Irreligious. A person can believe in god/s and completely lack religion. It has nothing to do with atheism or agnosticism. Sounds like you're an atheist.

Atheism: lack of belief in God or active disbelief in God.

Agnostic thinks it impossible to know the truth in matters such as God and the future life with which Christianity and other religions are concerned.

A person who does not observe a religious system and does not believe in any god is an Atheist. A person who believes in a form of god but no system of religion is an Agnostic.

Areligious or non-religious (they mean the same thing).

People wrongly equate this with atheism and forget the wealth of atheistic religions out there.

Hmmmmm, I think religionless might make more sense if you're going for a term that doesn't actually lead one to label you as one denomination or another.
Or, you could be an Atheist.
