Yes, I have received financial aid for my Master's degree. Unfortunately, I have not received any grants or scholarships - these are very rare for Master's students. All of my aid has been offered in the form of Perkins loans and Stafford Loans. Grad students have a higher limit on the amount of Stafford loans they can take out each year. For the 2007-2008 school year, you can take out a maximum of $20,500 (combined subsidized and unsubsidized). There is a cap on the amount of federal loans you can take out altogether throughout your entire lifetime. For grad students I believe that is $150,000 Good luck!

Yes, but the majority of financial aid for graduate school is in the form of loans; there are very few grants and scholarships in most cases, especially for master's students. Ph.D. students, on the other hand, are usually on full support, either in the form of stipends or teaching and research assistantships.

Yes it is. I had loans (fin aid) through my college, and had to sign a paper to defer my loans while in grad school. I got my MSE and after 6 months I had to start my repayment. They just took my AA, BS, and MSE loans and made them one lump payment.
So you can certainly go on for a masters/ph d after accruing loans as an undergrad. In the longrun, going straight through for a masters/ph d will be MUCH easier for you.
Good luck!

Yes, you can file out a FAFSA and put you have graduated but call FAFSA for more details.
You can also call Sallie Mae because they have their Graduate Plus Loan and you can ask others loans for Graduates.
I hope this has answer your question.
