If they tasted the same i would be fine.
If there is no harm in them i see no harm if they taste just the same i see no difference.

Well I know that strawberries will never be modified with animal genes... it simply does not happen. They may move around genes in labratories, but these foods are never designed for human consumption. Even when using plant-to-plant gene changes, genetically modified foods are highly studied before being released into the market. Even if they were sold in stores then I would have no reason not to eat it since in the United States genetically modified foods are regulated by the EPA, the USDA, and the FDA. If the American government says it is good enough for human consumption then I have to listen to that.

No way.
Jeez, haven't we already messed up strawberries enough as it is.
They don't even look like strawberries anymore, they're like these freak mutant steroid things the size of small apples and they sure don't taste like strawberries. They don't taste like anything at all, really.
And now they want to splice salmon genes in them?
Things aren't moving in the right direction anymore.

Of course I would. I would judge them as strawberries.
Also keep in mind that strawberries have been bred for centuries for characteristics that people consider desirable. Otherwise they would look like those teeny wild ones.
Now is not the time to get picky about how they were grown. Enjoy them while they are in season and not overpriced.

Why yes, yes I would. If everyone knew all about the stuff done to food, we'd have no choice but to eat it anyways because otherwise we'd starve. Besides, i'm not in the position to be picky. Most people don't have the land, time, and money to spend growing their own.
