Actually, Paul tells that jealousy would provoke the Jews to accept Jesus as they are not completely foresaken, and can accept Jesus.
Actually, the Jews considered Christianity a cult that threatened their religion. You read in Acts that it was the Jews that continually intimidated the Romans to eliminate such "herasy."
Then, as you follow history of the church, it was often Jews that brought charges against Christians before pagans tribunals.
This is not such a problem today as Israel struggles for its survival. Israel will ultimately be the Capitol of theis world, but you may be suprised at the outcome.
If you are interested, please e-mail me for refrences.
Shalom, peace in Jesus, Ben Yeshua

Christianity more "adapted" the Jewish Bible than hijacked it.
Christianity edited it, changed some words here and there to fit their own religion, and then of course added their own books onto it.
But still kept it mostly in tact. And they acknowledge Jews for bringing it down from Mt Sinai and preserving it.
Islam is the religion that really hijacked it.
Islam took the stories and personalities from the Jewish Bible, Talmud, and Christian Bible, mixed and mashed it all up and called it the Qur'an.

FYI, there is no such a thing called JEWISH BIBLE. There is the TORAH. In my own experience with Judaism, it seems to be not only a religion steeped in ancient tradition from all over the world ( because Jews have been forced to move around quite a lot through out the centuries of persecution ), it is a philosophy of survival, a way of life. It is actually a pretty humbling religion from what I've heard ( with its own set of guilts ). So, as far as I know there is no need for them to feel jealous: Christianity isn't what they practice. It is as simple as that.

Sorry, a Christian chimes in.
If a Jew truly believes in the Jewish religion they do not feel jealous. In humor, I once said to a Jewish friend that I was going to give him a KJV. In humor, he said that is OK, he would just tear it in half.
I do not wish to appear crass but: Second John 7 shows that "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist". Therefore, "anyone" who professes that THE CHRIST has not come in the flesh is an antichrist. Hoyt D. F. Sparks

Jealous?
not in the least.
Though I would say I am insulted that Christians often have the audacity to tell Jews that they dont understand their own religious text and that they know what it is "really" saying.
It is like a reader of a book telling the author that he knows better than him the meaning of a particular verse.

I am not jelous at all. I just find it odd. Here's the thing. For establishment that Jesus is the savior he must be the savior of something. Until that point Judaism was the explanation. Yet somehow all these people who are so believing in christanity have a very little foundation in Jewish belief, the very basis that there would be a savior. (P.S. I do not belive it is Jesus.)

Nope. We respect the rights of Christians to practice their religion. Likewise, we wish to practice our religion in peace.
There is a problem, however, when certain Christian missionary groups use false arguments, based on our Scriptures, in an attempt to convert Jews. We strongly condemn these activities.

No, not at all.
As a side note; the Christian OT is different than the Jewish Bible.

Hardly.
Judaism has been spared televangelism. That alone is worth being the world's pariah.

No, but it is offensive that they misquote verses.
