In detail, what do you think his "image" would be? We all know how Jesus has been depicted. There has been so many paintings/mosaics...etc...

Well, the way I see him is a really handsome guy. Probably indescribable. As someone said, he was a fallen angel, so he's probably quite pretty.
I don't believe the red skin, horns, pitchfork and that whole thing for a minute.
Ever read The Incarnations of Immortality by Piers Anthony? I think he got Satan pegged.

First and foremost, I don't think that you should direct this question just to people who have accepted Christ, because Satan is real, and he can interact with EVERYONE'S life. Now about the image of Satan. I don't believe that he has a CONSTANT image, because he is a spirit. We know that once he was an angel, so that might give a clue (even though most of us think we know how angels look like when we probably don't). So actually it really doesn't. I wouldn't really spend anytime thinking of how he looks like, because that would just be another of Satan's traps of wasting our time, especially when we could be praising and learning more about our God and Saviour!
Praise Him :)

Though I'm an Atheist, I've always imagined that the Devil would take the most pleasing form for people to see. If he's appearing before a single man the Devil would be in the form of a scantly clad voluptuous woman. If he appears before a school teacher he would appear as a small diminutive little girl with pig tails and a pink dress with shiny black shoes. He would take the most disarming image that he would need to take in order to make whoever he's dealing with as comfortable as possible.
I will ring your doorbell and run away!!!

The Bible says he makes himself appear like an angel of light. It says you shouldn't be surprised when preachers are corrupt because Satan does the same thing. He tries to look good even though he's evil. I'm not saying that all preachers are like that, but everyone knows that there are televangelists who can't be trusted and other leaders in churches as well. I can't remember the reference, but it's in the New Testament and I think it was written by Paul.

I, for one, try not to picture Satan. I stay as far away from thoughts or imagining of him as I can. I am pretty sure however, that he does not have horns and forked tail...I think he can present a handsome appearance...the bible says he can parade around as an angel of light....that doesn't sound ugly to me. What better way to lead people to sin than have a handsome look..we are so shallow when it comes to looks. Well, they are....

I had someone, a man in his 30's, tell me he had seen satan. So I asked what did he look like. He said he scared him horribly. He had dirty blond hair. He said that he knew satan had great knowledge.
The thing that I remember most was he said his eyes were like pools. I have thought about that and I know God gives off light. satan would draw light into himself like a pool. satan is only concerned for satan.

This is a spirit creature.
ll Corinthians 11:14 states, " And no wonder, for Satan keeps transforming himself into an angle of light." This seems to say that this spirit creature can transform himself into pretty-much whatever it takes in order to mislead and/or deceive his intended target

I think he'd look and act quite a bit like that dude that played Satan on "Devil's Advocate". Granted, he's not the most beautiful creation, but I thought they did a pretty good job portraying pure evil.

I know the typical satan is this red ugly, scary monster with a pitchfork because he is "the devil", but if you read the bible you have to remember that the devil used to be an angel and he was a very beautiful angel!

In short terms, "everything we define him as or personify him as is his image. This is the secret. an image is created, the real deal is actually a frail nothing.
