It shouldn't hurt. They aren't really doing anything. Just moving around fluid in the spine. I can do that. Seriously. I'm a PA (that's Physician Assistant for those who don't know). I can do the same thing a chiro does. It's just fluid. It does feel good though. That's why people go. Good noises and it feels good for a minute. But does it do anything? No. Noone, I can show you what the beginning of chiropractic care was. Dr. Palmer's own words. What he says is impossible. Can't happen. No way. The body isn't put together like that.

Yes it does but some use a gentle adjustment like the ones on the site below.

for the most part there isnt any pain, just noise
the only sensation i have felt was if I was in pain when I went in, the process of adjusting you will sometimes surprise you as it pops back into place and you hear the bones adjusting to their correct positions, but pain...no.
Frankly, the relief that it CAN provide is worth any mileage, cost or discomfort.

Only if the chiropractor breaks a bone, vertebrae, or pinches a nerve. But thats a small chance, only about 100000 times more likely than winning a lottery.

it shouldn't hurt to be adjusted. i work for a great chiropractor. there may be slight discomfort but not pain, also try to research, you don't want a chiropractor that twists your neck, that's dangerous.

DON"T go to a choiropracter----if you are having musel and joint pains or just want to relax go to a massage therapist!~ Believe me choiropraters don't help but mostly hurt massages don't hurt and if your massage therapist is hurting you go to another massage is to release tension and stress!
