I am male, I say that because the appropriate weights differ between genders. But, is 180 lbs normal for a 17 yr old male?

You should add what your height is also because your weight to height ratio tells you what's normal, underweight, and obese. Just from your age though it sounds pretty normal unless you're a shorty like 5'6".

Depends. Your age doesn't matter much at all, but your height does. How tall are you? Are you muscular or flabby? What kind of frame do you have? All these things make a difference. For a person that is 6' tall and thin framed, you might weigh a little much, but a 5' 10" person who is big boned or muscular might weigh MORE than that. It really depends.

It depends on your height. On the average,males now a days do weigh that much at your age, not like 25 or more years ago when males maybe weighed 140 pounds.

Well, it depends on your height, but you are probably a little overweight. Nothing serious though. You may need to lose a little weight or just grow a little taller. But if you don't grow taller, maybe you can lose about 5-10 lbs. But maybe not because you may way that much but are not fat.

I'm 17 and weigh just about that much. Sound fine to me. Unless your only like 5'6".
