Wow Milani, you're setting yourself up here. Many people answer rudely the way they do, here, because there's no fear of consequences. Speak to a person standing in front of you who has a question, in a rude and disrespectful manner, and you may spend 10 minutes picking yourself up off the floor. Don't have to worry about that here. Also, I think there are a lot of people on Y Answers with a high degree of undirected hate in their personalities. This is a place they can vent - again, with no consequences.

I agree with you. They annoy me too.
They are also bored and stupid. They are immature and have nothing better to do. They would rather play on the internet and show off their butts, than get educated and earn a good salary someday. They enjoy insulting people because they feel so badly about themselves, that they lash out at others. They aren't worth getting too upset about though. They aren't worth our time or brain energy.

Kind of like some disgruntled posters whom can't seem to turn the other cheek, right? Hey, we're all just trying to get along. There are tons of different personalities out there - - if you post on an open forum like this one, you should try to grow a little more tollerance. Just a thought.

what's the point in posting a question if you do not intend to receive openly the variety of answers that people from different paths have to say....well you sound resented....... and I would rephrase your question

I read my husband some of these smartaleck answers. He agrees with me, "It's their ignorance showing". They don't have an answer or want attention drawn to themselves, or just want to stir up anger mainly because they're anonymous and can get away with it. And of course, maybe lonely, low self-esteem, angry with the world.
