Whats your favorite dog breed and why?
Mine would have to be a rottweiler or a husky or great danes!

Hmm. This actually rather tough. I love all big dogs but I guess that my favorite would be a Mastiff. I don't entirely knwo why. If you want to get really specific I would say a brindle colored mastiff. They are so big and have such enormous paws. I love feeling the paws of a dog whenI am playing with it. Also I just adore their droopy faces and flabby, for lack of better word, lips. I know that it may sound weird but I just absolutely love the huge dogs that think they are puppies.

I would have to say Miniature Pinscher. I own 4. I also love other dog breeds. I really like Great Danes also, but I also like all mastiff breeds and several others. The list would be too long to type here.

Saint Bernards....they're so gentle and lovable. I love playing with their loose skin and floppy ears. And my female really doesn't drool much. I loved it when she was a pup. She was over 100 pounds before she outgrew chasing her tail, LOL. My daughter can climb on the dog while she's laying down, stick her fingers in her ears, poke at her gums......the dog doesn't care. She doesn't even turn her head away, she loves the attention. I don't let my male around her because he's so hyper, I think he'd accidentally knock her over with his tail, but he loves the baby too.

I love Boxers! I have two fawns, a 1 1/2 year old male and an 8 wk old female. Love 'em! They are some of the kindest, gental big dogs out there.

I would have to say huskies they are amazing dogs i also am a fan of great danes but we breed and raise huskies we just love them

I have to say two come to mind, Pugs and Neapolitan Mastiffs (like Hagrid's dog in Harry Potter) If I could afford it, I'd buy a Pug puppy and a Mastiff puppy and raise them together!!!

Dobie. I've owned 3. They're smart, gentle, good watch dogs m and mine adored kids. They used to come up and ask if Boozer could come out and play.

gotta love those Heinz 57 mixes and I have a West Virginia black dog.....lol she is a mutt, black, and found in WV people have actually asked me how they could get one... way to funny... but definitely mutts.... mixes are the cutest!!
(also owned by a shep/mastiff mix... love all the mixes)Most mutts have less issues as far as health... not as much inbreeding etc... and if you rescue they really do seem to be grateful....smile

I ADORE Pomeranins!!! I have one, and he is so cute! I love them because they are all fluffy, cute, nice, small, and playfull. If you want me to choose a kind of dog you like then...umm..it would probally be a husky because they are strong and protective.
