Haha, heard enough affirmations yet??
Lol, it's neat to be in choir. Better than being a loser with no talent or skill :)
I'm 23 and still obsessed with choir. I'm going into real estate so I can get lots of money to retire early so I can be in a choir forever.
It's so hard to meet guys that can sing, and a guy that can sing is a total turn-on. Chicks dig it :) I had a friend in choir that was amazing... he ended up with a job singing at tables in a ritzy restaurant, and still does vocal competitions. That's awesomeness, and not odd at all, just plain cool. And sexy, of course.
And dude, think of it this way... Do you have any idea the scholarships for that? Plus.. have you seen Center Stage? If I understand correctly, the male lead role in that movie is actually a famous ballet dancer. And he's definitely older than 14. Sometimes, odd is better than fitting in. If you fit in with everyone else, you'll never stand out, yeah?

Define odd?
Mozart was odd.
Beethoven was odd.
Pavoratti was odd.
Ozzy Ozbourne was odd from day #1.
So what? Who cares?
The question is...WHAT DO YOU THINK?
You have to start thinking of yourself as an individual.
Don't think so much in terms of what others think of you.
If you (or someone you know) like(s) choir...then more power to you (them).
Sing on!

Nope. I liked choir (when I did it in 8th grade, even though it's required at my school) when I was 13. If you like choir, then keep singing cause you're AWESOME!!!

No, it's not odd.
Your interest in choir is commendable, because you will learn how to develop your talent, which you will never regret.
Enjoy the experience, and all the best in your future endeavours!
