so heres my problem, my dad needs a hair cut, tonight. hes marrying a couple tomorrow and is in need of a hair cut before the wedding! small town so theres no place to take him too, and i arranged for a lady in town to do it, but i can't reach her now!

so PLEASE do you have any advice/tips for me? cuz if i don't find anyone in half an hour, i'll end up being the one with the scissors(i know, not spelt right...or is it?)

Don't cut too much off at once. Go very slow and suttle. Gradually take off more and more until he's happy with it.

Cut all your perimeter off while wet, including around the ears. take a guidline a half inch wide down the middle of the hair on top..comb hair straight up in front with half inch section. pull straight up and cut to match the sect you previously cut...now, take your guide from the top and start at the side take half inch sect straight out 90 degrees, cut from the previously cut guide.... take sect all around the head..remember straight out 90 degrees...You might get it and you might not..

Better to be a little overgrown and use a little hairspray, than to have screwed up hair. I am a professional and it took a year to learn how to do it right. You could just go around the back of neck and ears STRAIGHTLY and trim the line up a little.
