Are you asking if we personally (the responders) have, or anyone we know, or anyone at all?

If the first, then no, not for me. But then, I'm not precisely someone who acts on whim. If anything, I've over-analyzed my decisions. I'm very happy with my ink and planning out further work.

If the second, then yes, but with caveats. Coverups or additions/expansions happen from time to time. Not too common, but I've seen and heard of a few that are documentable.

If the last, then yes almost tautologically. About 1 in 9 of those who get tattoos regret them; 2 in three want something else or a coverup, and the remaining 1 in 3 (of one in 9; 1 in 27 total) don't like tattoos at all.

I believe www.bmezine.com had an article mentioned these percentages.

I have 4. I got my first tattoo when I was 16. Last year I started regretting getting the first one I got on my lower back, and I still do. The other ones are fine though.

Haha, yes my sister regretted her first tattoo, which was drawn by her psycho ex-boyfriend when she was 16 years old. It was supposed to be a sunshine with a face on it but it looked more like the Kool-Aid man.

But now it's covered up with a big, black dove holding a dead rose. Nice symbolism of their relationship ending, lol.

Yes, off course ask any one over 35 years old. I have many tattoos, and in my line of work as a hairstylist, and I am a top stylist, and many times ,I have been made aware, of my tattoos, and at times a bit embarrassed,by them, in some circles they are still, and will all ways looked down upon

My dad did. He got a tattoo on his back when he was 21 and he can't afford to get it laser removed. When your old and frail you'll regret it. Always think ahead.

I started to get one from a friend who did beautiful ones for others. It hurt so bad, even with all the Tequila I drank that I moved and he slipped. I couldn't take it so I made him stop. It is an ugly unfinished rose on the worst (fatty) part of my butt. I hate it. fortunately i rarely see it, lol.

uhmm honestly.....everyone that i know that has gotten a tattoo regretted it. they say its because they were young and wanted a tattoo, so they got one. then, whatever they got went out of style or they themselves changed their style and regretted it. also, i have read stories of tattoos gone really wrong. hope i helped =]

No, but mine aren't usually visible. If I regretted one, I would have it covered over with new work.
