Bowel motions are controlled by our sphincter muscle.
When you die, all muscles relax.
If your bowel is full, this can cause leakage of faeces (poo).
Rigor mortis does not set in until several hours after death.

Yes you do. Your involuntary muscles relax. Rigor mortis sets in later - and your body gets stiff.

I'm in the funeral business myself so I can answer this fairly well. It is true in some cases, but not always. It depends on factors such as how long before death the deceased ate, cause of death etc.

Gee, if it were true, that would be embarassing. Imagine poo-ing in your pants, or on your bed. So, dude, if you plan on dying, make sure you are in the bathroom, ok?

The sphincter muscles that keep your anus closed relax when you die, so yes, many people defecate when they die.

You are sick. Why don't you set up a camcorder and record your death and have your friends review the tape and find out and then when you reincarnate you can ask them.
