I think both are good, as long as the fruits are fresh. You should definitely alternate between them. I'm guessing homemade fruit smoothies would be better than store-bought though, since you get to control the sweetness. - Milk should be one of your key ingredients.
Also add 'fruit salads'. You chop up different fruits and eat them like a salad. No dressing is required, but you can occasionally add a little chocolate (or vanilla) whip on top.
I think peaches would be good because I once heard on tv that it'll help your baby grow up to have nice smooth skin. gl!

So you can't eat strawberries ... but assuming you 'know for a fact' that you can eat other berries, and are not 'allergic' to other fruit, I'd say eat FRESH FRUIT ... but if you have an 'icky stomach' (nauseated) sometimes eating crackers and following with a 'thick smoothy' with milk will give you the 'nutrition' you need for both you and your 'little one inside.'
CONGRATULATIONS! And don't forget ... your child will NOT have the same allergies you do, but don't 'start them' on strawberries until they are 2 years old ... that way they may not 'develop' your 'allergy' to them.

Smoothies or other drinks work. Also things like apple sauce are great. The best most original way is actually eating fruit, or make smoothies which you know what youre putting in there. Have fun with your baby!

Either way if the fruit is whole (not juice); whichever you like better. Pregnant women should eat a variety of fruits. Smoothies are a more concentrated source of calories.

Mangos. They are great tasting fresh and not too expensive. Get the mango seeder from amazon.com to make them easy to eat. They have loads of fiber as well as nutrition. You can also blend them in a smoothie easily.

if they're both fresh then you're fine, they are the same. Frozen fruit (not in that gel syrup) is also really good too if you cant' get fresh fruit.
Try to get a wide variety of fruits since they all have different nutrients in them

Actually, I've heard that by blending them into a smoothie, they actually loses a lot of the nutrients that make them so good, and that's probably why V8 Splash is so darn expensive!
