I do not have a US id, but I have UK id and a student identification card, both have my DOB on it.. will that work?

Yes. Your government-issued id will carry more weight than your student ID, but they will take either one. As long as it has your date of birth on it, and you are 18 or older, They won't give you any grief about it.
