I didn't cook the biggest fish I ever caught, but did cook a 4lb sea bass I caught here in Spain. I steamed it and did it Chinese style with ginger. Then fried some very thinly sliced garlic in very hot oil, mixture of sesame and groundnut (Peanut) oil. I put some sliced spring onion on the fish after it was cooked, and put some soy sauce on and then poured the oil and garlic on it. (Garlic must be browned) I had it with plain rice and quick stir fry of spinach and bean sprouts. It was delicious and no fish you buy can ever taste as good as freshly caught. Yummy big time

I caught a 52 lb. King Salmon last Wednesday in the Kenai River. That's the best fish I've caught as far as the fight it put up. I've caught halibut that are much bigger (a number of them over 120 lbs) but the King Salmon is the best fight and the best eating. When I cook 'em I squeeze some lemon juice over them, dip them in egg yolk and then roll them in Potato Buds (those fake mashed potatoes). Then deep fry unitl the outside is nice and crispy. Delicious.

I went to Mazatlan, Mexico and caught an 89 pound sailfish. I wanted to take at least some of the filet home, or at the very least, the sword. I heard they sold it for dog food. Needless to say I dont fish in Mazatlan anymore.

Caught a 24lb albacore last Sunday. The biggest fish I've caught to date. My Dad filleted it and we ate part of it on Monday. My Dad just deep fried it. It was good especially the belly. If you want a picture e-mail me and I'll send it to you. We normally eat fish with just plain white rice.

I've gotten a pike just over 45". I released it. I release all the large fish I catch. I eat the smaller ones, but prefer to let another fisherman have a shot at big fish.

I caught a 441 Black Marlin off the cost of Panama just this summer! Unfortunatly, when the fish jumped, it got tail wrapped and died when it was tried to be brought back up. We ended up keeping it and taking it back. Instead of cooking it, we ate it RAW. Oh it was good. Nothing better than Marlin Sashimi! We ended up keeping the bill and getting on the plane and through custom and we are getting the bill mounted.
