Illegals are illegals. Who cares what country they come from or what color they are?.

That is not the issue. It's not a matter of race or language.

If they don't follow the law.. -and it's clear they don't-, send them back to where they came from.

It's as simple as that!!!.

I wonder if we went to their country they would allow us to live there ILLEGALLY!!! Do you think ANY other country in the world would do that????? Of course not!!!!

So, the question is, why do people think the United States of America HAS to do it?????

Yes, that simply enforces the law that currently exists. It would be very simple to round up illegal immigrants if the federal government would allow state and local police to enforce violations of federal immigration law. For that matter all the law enforcement ought to be working under the department of justice and capable of enforcing any law. An illegal immigrant from Canada is no less a law breaker than one from Mexico. That being said, the process for legal immigration is in drastic need of reform. It is far to complicated and takes far too long and is a major contributing factor to illegal immigration. When Legal immigration is the path of least resistance, illegal immigration is a less attractive option, especially if it is strongly enforced.

No. This is not about where a persons country of origin is. This is about Democracy and the American Dream. What is important is a person who enter this country and commits crimes and hinders the continued growth and prosperity of our country. Unfortunately, the bleeding heart liberals and the agenda driven media have clouded the issue with nonsense and we may never have an answer.

Closing the borders for a short time would help get a handle on the situation. However to "round up"people is not a viable solution nor practical.

Sure, I think most people would support a bill like that. The question is who is going to pay for it. I don't think you have any earthly idea how much this would cost.

Why would it matter where they are from? I hope you aren't trying to make a tired, fallacious point about some faux-prevalent racism toward Mexicans and only Mexicans.

I would, but it wouldn't work.

What we need to do is ENFORCE THE LAWS WE ALREADY HAVE. It is illegal to hire illegal aliens. Fine the businesses that do so and they will stop hiring illegal aliens. If illegal aliens can't find jobs, 95% of them will go back. Then we can more easily deal with the 5% that stay.

Sounds good to me, give back the LEGAL American CITIZENS the jobs they deserve and give our taxes back to us in terms of healtcare, wages, etc. , US CITIZENS, not illegal people who are breaking the law being here in the first place!
