I was working with a family member helping him do some stuff in his office. The problem is he has an attitude so I've decided to quit. Yet I dont want to call him and tell him that I quit because I dont want to talk to him. My mom won't call for me because she says it's not her business and I agree with her. No one will call for me and I refuse to call myself. What do I do?

If you have time before you're supposed to be at work again, you can send a letter instead of calling. But if there isn't time for a letter to get there you bite the bullet and call him. It's your responsibility to inform him somehow that you'll no longer be working for him.

This is childsplay.
Come on , just text him!
Why do you even bother what he likes and what he doesn't?
Afterall you are not going to work for him anymore! Does it even matter what he thinks? He does not control your life. You control your own life so make decisions for yourself.

Even if at the end of the day he comes and rant at you for leaving. Just smile and say " thats precisely the reason i left" and walk away non chalently. All problems would be solved.

A lady at work left a note on her desk just saying "I quit" and walked out.

It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to quit your own job. You owe this family member the respect of quitting to his/her face.
