I am a really shy person and find it really hard to make friends.those i have all seem to be using me.how can i make proper and nice friends?

Where are you hanging out? Remember that he who lies down with dogs will get up with fleas. Join a service club or volunteer somewhere in the community. Go places that you will meet nurturing people. Join a drama group. Work on props if you just can't get up in front of people. Take a speech or interpersonal communications class.
Listen to Prairie Home Companion on PBS radio. Garrison Keeler really understands shy persons. And don't forget to eat Powder Milk Biscuits; Heavens they're tasty and they help shy persons get up and do what needs to be done. ;-)

Hey! look, i'm a bit shy too, and sometimes i have your saame problem ^^! what i do is this:
1 - Go to places where YOU feel comfortable, NEVER go to a place just because it's "the coolest place". What is cool for you is not necessary cool for the rest of the people. There, you'll find people with your same interests...now...how i make friends with them?!...
Easy!...
If you find someone with things in common with you, then you don't have to be shy, just talk with him/her! start a conversation about that topic in special, and then ask for him/her name, age, where he/she lives, etc etc.
2- Now, if you feel that you just can't do it, then use a special way: make everyone look at you. How? fine... let's say:
You're good in drawing, and you go to an art studio. Fine, draw something really cool, i bet at least 4 persons will come near to you to say : Oh!! that's really cool! (that's the signal! start a conversation!)
I'm sure you'll find somebody ^^ remember, this world is full of people, and at least 2,000 people have a lot of things in common with you :P See Ya! Tell me the results!

make people admire you not for what you can say...you can't seem to say much since you're shy. Try pursuing an activity like playing an instrument or sports, if you don't already so people can admire you for some sort of talent or achievement. Invent a pair of glasses that allows you to see through clothes so us guys can see what women are hiding underneith, and you'll be a billionaire for sure

Don't worry. I am shy too. Don't expect to make friends by making shy ones.
You got to think of it as though shyness doesn't exist. If tohers can publicly make a fool of themselves without a conscience, then why can't you?

Ok... it's really easy, even for a shy person...
First-Get out more and look for people who seem proper and nice...
Then - just smile, say hi, and try to use their name, if you know it... like "Hi, Sandy..."
When they have seen you around a bit, ask them about something they like, and then listen....
If you listen, you will be the most popular girl around...

Pretend to be someone you are not, then you will get some friends who like you for what you are not ... will that make you happy? Friends aren't everything but if you want friends you need to show interest in other people, people like to be noticed and to be given attention.

Stones you can gaher from the road side and everywhere .but for diamionds , you will have to mine .
seek the good one's as thay do not come forwrd of thier own.appreciate them and repect them .they will make good friends . Friends ar those who give willingly and unasked and do not take.even if offered with persuation..

A person has to be willing to risk rejection in order to reach out to others effectively. Then, in order to maintain a friendship, one must be willing to admit their mistakes, & apologize for them.

hey u r just like me
even i used to be the same kinds shy and not easily able to make friends when i was small
but now
i find it very easy to make friends...
see in this world if u want to make friends and maintain friendship with them...
just know that u have to say and do whatever they like
you have to please to be friends...
people use you means you are really very easy to fool...so u have to beacome observant and understand that this world is full of bad people...open your eyes...the ones who seem to be good maynot be actually good!!!!
see nice friends...no one is nice in this world...u be nice and please others...and u get nice friends...!!!
