ok well so far she has had 2 puppies and about 30 min or less in between every puppy.. is this normal or not? she has already had puppies and the last time she had puppies, she had 11. The mom is a heeler. Does that have to do with how many puppies she has? And any other information would be great.. =]

It can take up to 24 hours to deliver the whole litter. As long as she is not straining to push out a puppy for more than an hour with no results, she is OK. 11 is a lot of puppies for a dog that size. She could tire out easily. I'd just keep her quiet and watch how things progress. Most of the time they do just fine.

Each pregnancy can be different. There can be a lapse of an hour or more between pups or less than 30 minutes. She is doing good so far. The longer the labor lasts, the more tired she will become, specially if it is a large litter. Sometimes their body just gives out and they can't push the puppies out. She could have another litter of 11 or 2 or 3 pups. The size of a previous litter has no bearing really on whether she will have a large litter or a small one. Hope everything goes well.

If she already had puppies, don't you know what is normal for her??
Having a puppy about every 30 minutes is normal as far as I have read, but I am neither a breeder or a vet. I also think that if she had 11 puppies before she'll probably have something close to that.
I think you should educate yourself better on this subject though if you are breeding. Like from books or from reputable breeders.

She sounds like she is doing fine. Just stay with her and make sure that she is not starting to tire out to much and that there is no hemorraging, etc. Have a vets number handy just in case.
If she had a uncomplicated pregnancy in the past she should do ok. She definately shouldn't go over 24 hours though.

That's perfectly normal. Don't worry. Just keep an eye on her in case she needs any help, and have the emergency vet number and telephone beside you.

It can take up to an hour to squeeze out six pups...at least in a fox terrier.
