I loved the wooden tops - and I can do the most amazing Spot the dog impersination!! - movements and voice!!!!

you know that test card girl - it looks so like me at that age it spooks me a bit - coz i know it isn't me - but I still have to keep reminding myself that it isn't me!!!!

The Wooden Tops were my absolute favourite when I was very young. For some odd reason Spotty Dog scared me though.
Another fav of mine was "Tales from the River Bank", with Hammy the Hamster, Roderick the Rat, e.t.c.

I can indeed and with arthritis setting in my Spotty Dog impression is improving by the day! (I don't recall a voice except a gutteral "gruff,gruff" - maybe my memory is going too!).
Lovely question - I'd better not stay too long or ... Horrible Andy Pandy in his boy pyjamas anyone? (even their teddy was awful and had a stiff wave!)

I watched some old Black and white TV sometime ago, ''Hello Weed'', ''Blobalop'' and weed says in a high pitched voice ''weed''.

I remember wooden tops. I played with them. Wasn't all that good, though.
I didn't really have any favorite childhood tv programs. Where I lived when I was little we didn't have television.
