If is white then it will be a Miniature. If it gets over 17inches tall then it would be considered a Standard.

If it's white, odds are it's a Miniature. The whites haven't been "introduced" into the Standards and Giants yet - it's just the Minis that have had white "added" to the color pool. (White isn't an accepted AKC color, but a lot of people breed for white - or worse for "parti" - for some strange reason)
It doesn't make her less of a dog - we had a rescued white Mini Schnauzer who was an absolute joy.
She'll probably stay around 15 inches, and around 18-20 pounds. If you keep her, make sure that you don't over-feed her, since obesity-related diseases are a problem in Mini Schnauzers.
Take her to the vet and get his/her opinion on the age, as well as their recommendation on food, shots, spaying, etc.
If you found her as a stray, be sure you do everything to find her rightful owner before you claim her as yours. Contact the vets, the local shelter, put an ad in the paper and post signs in the area.

1.) Sounds like a Miniature which is usually 12-14 inches at the shoulder. (Standards are 17-19 inches, and Giants are 23-28 inches)
2.) Your vet can best tell you the approximate age by examining the dogs teeth and rest of body.
3.) No it will not change color. White is actually not an AKC recognized color and usually happens form a gene mutation. RESPONSIBLE breeders do not intentionally breed for white, only the recognized colors of salt/pepper, black/silver and solid black.
4.) TMini's are usually fully grown at about 9-10 months old, so if she is about a year she will not get any bigger.
Please take her to a shelter or local vet to see if she has a microchip, or at the very least call the local shelter/pound/animal control to see if she was reported missing. She could be someones best friend who got lost and they could be sick with worry.
If no one is looking for have your vet do a complete exam and blood work, as mini schnauzers are prone to many problems like hypothyroidism, diabetes, pancreatitis, bladder stones, cataracts, bladder infections, heart murmur and skin diseases. All of these problems are difficult ,expensive long term problems.

1. Giants are BIG, not as big as Great Danes, but still quite large, Standards are maybe knee height, and mini's are mid thigh height...I could look up the measurements, but I dont' want to lol
2. Age, well u can't ever really know, since you found it, but usually a vet can tell by it's teeth and the general condition of the dog
3. It may change over the course of it's life, may get darker.
4.At 1 yr the dog should be pretty much fully grown.
good luck :) I think white Schnauzers are cutie pies :)

This link tells about the differences in the sizes. Sounds like a mini. If it's not a baby, it won't change color. She won't grow any more at 1 year of age. If you just found the dog, have you tried to find it's owner? I'd be heartbroken if my dog went missing and someone kept it. Put up signs and call all the shelters to see if anyone is looking for her. Check the papers. Have your vet scan her for a microchip. Please try to find her family first.
