I know there are medications out there for the pain or whatever, but does anyone know anything I can put on them or rinse my mouth with that will make them heal fast?

Warm salt and water with 1/2 a capful of peroxide in it. Do not rinse just hold in there for about 25-35 seconds a time. Do a cupfull every 4 to 6 hours and make sure the water is not hot. The rinsing motion will case friction like motion and actually iratate the sore more. Most of the tmes te sore will take 7-10 dyas to heal, but man are they a pain in the $&@

Get your self some Aloe Vera Juice at a Health food store and you can take a drink of it and hold it in your mouth for a few seconds, then swallow it. Also avoid acidity foods, for the time being as it will irritate your tongue. Some foods are tomatoes, oranges, pineapple, sodas (pop) pepper.

I hace always used a tea bag for quick relief. The acid dries up the cold sore.

Put the tea bag in hot water and then place it on the sore. Keep it warm and on there for as long as possible. Good luck!

Man- those things are a PAIN! Since nothing will actually STICK to your tongue, try anything SOFT that feels better... They shouldn't last for very long- because tongues heal up VERY quickly...

Try tea tree oil ... it works for the family. Buy it in little bottles at health shops. Read the instructions carefully.
