I went to the doc for a physical, I'm gonna be 25 in a month, they measured me at 5 11.5" tall, and 145lbs. The doc thought I could use a few pounds. I eat and drink beer all the damn time! I do play soccer daily though...that could be hindering any weight gain.

I wouldn't worry about it if you're basically healthy.
The doctor is right--you could use a few pounds, but you don't have to have them. Make sure you're getting good nutrition and rest. You're probably doing fine in the area of exercise.
You may want to consider some vitamin supplements. Your doctor should be able to recommend a general supplement such as 1-a-Day, or specific vitamins if he thinks you need them.
But, at age 25, you're doing just fine.

yea, i weigh about the same as lora, but i can range from 95-104 depending on my water weight and stuff and im 5'6 1/2 and my doctor said that because of my metabolism its hard for me to gain weight or lose it, my weight stays the same and i run with my mom twice a week and do gilads stuff so as long as your healthy, and your bmi says that your not underweight, you should be fine, but like it says, im underweight using the bmi, which according to my doctor is not always correct

when your metabolism slows down, you'll put on weight. some guys it happens in their 20s, others not until their 30s. you'll probably gain 25-30 pounds without doing anything different.

Don't worry, give it time. You metabolism will eventually slow down--especially if you drink a lot of beer...you're gonna get a "beer belly". .

You do seem a little thin but it is not unhealthy to be a little underweight. If you want more muscle then this is a story about a skinny guy who is now a muscular guy.

Don't worry about it. I am almost 5'8 and only weigh 98-103 and I am stronger than most of my friends, and have more energy. As long as you are healthy it doesn't matter.
