I am wondering why you haven't reported her to the police?! They can get it in a flash. Then you can decide what to do from there. You must file a report to be safe. No, you can't get it over the net. I know you can't get it from Motor Vehicle, either. The police will tell you if you need to take any action or if you want them to arrest her. If the police give you her name & address and you don't want her arrested, go to a lawyer and ask them to send her a letter letting her know you know she is stalking you and that you have reported her to the police. A warning letter. The attorney will know how to word it. Please, please, please, do not wait a minute longer. You don't know what she has in mind. And there is a little chance that it's nothing threatening. You need to find out before you end up beat up in an alley. You'll sleep better when you put this in the hands of the law. NOTE to Knowitall: I think she meant to say she had the licence plate NUMBER not the actual plate. Jennie: Which is it, please.

Is the stalking for romance, is it malicious, or is it something else? At any rate, you are not supposed to be able to find out anything from a license place number because that is a tool for the police. If the stalking becomes a significant nuisance (not just hanging around and watching you), you can turn that number over to them, along with a description of the person, name if you have it, details of what they're doing, etc.

Go to the police and have them run the plate then file charges against the sick person stalking you.
Some place have that information available to the public but because you didn't say where your from I can't look it up for you.
You could try phoning the License Borough if it's legal where you live they will give you that info.

Only police can access personal information from a license plate number. Just call the police and give them the number, they'll take care of it!
