E85 fuel is made for Flexfuel vehicles, so far only GMs and Fords (and another make I can't remember). If your car is not a flexfuel model it can't run on E85. E85 is only 15% gasoline and 85% ethonal (the corn). Most regular engine cars can only accept up to 10% ethonal without any damage to the car. If your car dosn't say that it is flexfuel or ethonal capible than, it probably can't use it. I wouldn't try it because it might ruin the engine in some way.

All cars can safely run on up to 30% ethanol. So put 7 gallons of gasoline in it and 3 gallons of E85 when you fill up. It is not flex fuel but you can still use some E85 in it. Just don't go over 50% ethanol overall or your check engine light may come on.

they still sell e85? if the instruction manual calls for 87 fuel, the lowest u can go is 87 without damaging teh car. im sure teh maxi can run on 85 but teh damage it is doing to the engine deosnt seem worth it.
