not possible. Even satan knows scripture better than us, yet he cannot comprehend what is means. God bless.

There is a difference between recognizing truth in the Bible and understanding truly what the Bible teaches. The Holy Spirit has to move a person to apply that truth to their life in a meaningful way. Many people believe that Jesus died for their sins but after having given that intellectual assent to that truth they don't show any change in their lives.
It's like getting ready to cross the street and seeing a truck is coming and agreeing that a truck is coming but still walking out and getting run down. True understanding of the teachings found in the Bible bring about repentance and a changed life by the power of the Spirit who sanctifies us.

I think you can have faith in the Church that has been around for almost 2000 yrs and in the Magestrium of the Church, the popes and biblical scholars. If you have faith in God and that He inspired the authors with His Spirit (the Holy Spirit/Ghost) to write the Bible without error, then you don't have to have direct communion nor communication with His Spirit. You can also study the history of the Church and the translations of the Bible from English today back to the ancient scrolls. With faith and reason, you can find that it is true (the Truth).

I am not sure what it means that the Bible is true, with or without the Holy Spirit.
But if something can be discerned only with the Holy Spirit, I am not sure it is being discerned at all.
Since there will be rival discernments by the Holy Spirit, the only way to adjudicate differences is with force.
I reject this scenario. There must be a way of discerning truth with natural sight.

Yes in Islam it says in Chapter 2 first 100 lines that anyone that disputes what Allah SWT sent will be insulting themselves and all of mankind... so Islamic you have to believe the bible and holy spirit and Jesus for that matter.
But if you read further on they support with another verse saying, The true Engeel that was sent to Jesus was removed and altered by the people. So what are you refuting if its not really the true words of Allah SWT unaltered and untouched

The Holy Spirit is what you purely love - so it is like reuniting with your core self when you remember or re-cognize it. It is your purpose. But, following your bliss doesn't mean you will necessarily understand the psychological metaphors of the Bible.

God says in His Word that if you have not the Spirit , you have not Him, that makes it pretty clear cut. Without the Spirit of God , there is no communication, He is the voice of God inside of us.

Check the Bible against history, and against the science books. See if they don't agree with what can be proved.

No, they support and don't contradict one another!
That is why Bible reading and prayer are so important.
My husband is better at Bible reading and I
am better at prayer - so we work well together!
