and what if you are born in india and work as a 5 year old child in a mine all day is it then the spirit that constitutes the comfort ?

I think this is true....you have to be comfortable in your own skin...within yourself so to speak so that this spirit we use to face circumstances is loving.

Comfort depends greatly on the situation and the familiarity within it so that makes that question to broad to answer decently. So given that I do not agree with that quote.
