I have had 2 cats for years, Sassy and Rascal, but in February Rascal got out and never came back. A friend got me a kitten and I named him Taz. I thought Sassy was going to kill him a time or 2 the way she hissed and carried on with him, now she is fine with him though. Now I just came home from the grocery and there is the absolute cutest little baby kitten just sitting on my steps. Never even seen a cat roaming in the neighborhood. Weird. Lord, I don't know what to do. He is so cute. My daughter is 17 (only child) and will be leaving in a few years and I am going to be known as the weird cat lady with 3 cats! He is sooooo cute though - dang it, I don't know what to do!

OK I decided to keep him. I guess it didn't take a lot of convincing, huh? I am going to name him Scatters - I have tried to feed him twice and he was so happy to have attention he kept jumping up to rub his head against my hand that he scattered his food all over the place!!!

3 cats is not weird! You become weird when you exceed 15 or so (That's over the limit!). I have 3cats and I might get a 4th. I'm not weird and I'm not know as the cat lady.

No,
you are definatley not weird... if you were so would I because I have 3 cats too and I know someone who has like maybe five I think. I would like to have five but I can't.....
Just don't worry about what other people think, if you love your cats then keep them! It wouldn't matter if you had ten cat's I still wouldn't think you are weird because I wouldn't mind having ten or even twenty cats to be around. It would be ironic but, I would love it! You should love it too!

Just don't get more than you can handle because then you may not have time to feed or take proper care for.
Don't worry so much and have fun with your kitties!

*I hope this helped and please.... you are not weird for having 3 kitties in the house! I love them!

Keep the cats! If you love the cats, you shouldn't care if people think you're a weird cat lady. My one friend owns over 15 cats. Now that is considered weird in my book.

No, 3 cats is perfectly fine! Plus you are going to need the company ;-).
I have had up to 6 cats at one time, and they really are nice companions. Right now I have 4.

As long as you can keep up with the upkeep and the house still smells good then it is fine :-).

No, you are not weird at all. My family and I have 4 cats and one dog. We are able to take care of them properly and they bring a lot of joy and humor to our lives. They were all rescue animals, so we consider ourselves truly blessed.

Just don't collect a lot of animals that you are unable to care for, that is when the trouble starts.

If you can afford to keep the stray and your other cats accept his presence, go for it.

I have a friend who has two cats of her own, but who also rescues/feeds dozens of others who are stray or feral. She does not take them into her home, but does find great homes for them once she has fed them and taken them to the vet for proper care.

Good luck and enjoy the new addition to your home....Now if it was number twenty-three or thirty-three; then I would be a bit concerned.

Have fun.

No, you're not weird to have three cats. ^^ I'd love to have three cats, I'll only have one until three weeks from now. :(

Don't worry about what others say; just love your pets and have fun with them. And for added fun, train your cats to a harness and take them for walks. Then you'll be the crazy crazy lady who has three cats who she walks! (Just kidding!)

Just don't worry so much, okay? And make sure that you get the kitten shots and such things. :)

3 is fine. Just don't get more than you can reasonably care for or pay proper attention to. We have 2 dogs and a cat. I won't get any more because the ones I have would get short-changed on attention from me and my husband.

It's not weird but you should probably get the little kitten checked out right away before the other cats mingle with it. Stray cats are notorious for having feline leukemia (very contagious). It could easily infect the other cats.

Well if that makes you weird than I'm weird as well. I have three cats too. I was only going to have two and kinda "ended up" with my third. They all get along so well together I can't imagine not having all three!!!
